  1. Tripod is more stable and better for long exposures. Monopod is more mobile and better for situations with the objectives of long when you try to stabilize the camera, but that move frequently.

  2. Use monopod, if --
    1) The space is limited - sporting events, parties, etc., where you do not arrive at court, to create a tripod.
    2) A tripod is not helpful - the rugged Rocky Mountains - with no configuration on the stand or a fire, window frame - not enough room, set-up.
Created 3) The security in the fast - on the edge of a sporting event or on the way to "block" or a marathon - please shoot from -.

  3. Monopods are used for a variety of situations: in the execution of a tripod is not an option because of light or other reasons, the journey for the sport, so you are not on target field during the game, and most clearly did not shake Wildlife is a good time to use a monopod. They offer more maneuverability and a tripod in situations where a tripod is not only useful, if you like to follow moving objects, or need help with an optical image stabilizer. I've used for the macro, if you do not want to create a tripod.

I think you can not move to may want to slow for an opening that you would be three feet for stability. I have never seen a monopod. How are you? Is it possible to celebrate in front of you to take your own picture?

  6. Tripods are used mainly for scenes very stable and slow shutter speed, Monopods are not as constant (as constant U) are also easier to transport
